Choirs

Committed singers are appreciated by everyone in the church because their love of God and their parish family is evident when they sing well: This means they've taken time from their busy lives for practice. An appreciative recipient said it best in a thank-you note to the choir who gathered to sing at his loved one's funeral:

"Our family would like to thank you and all the members of the choir who provided the beautiful music for our father's funeral service. The songs were very moving and comforting to us. We realize it's not always easy to give of your time in today's busy world, so your sacrifice was appreciated. Thanks to ALL OF YOU for a job well done".

A need for healing and consolation is most obvious at Funeral Masses, but people also come to Weekend Masses seeking healing and consolation, even inspiration. If you've ever experienced the love and caring--the "sacrifice"--of the people currently involved in any of our choirs, please "pass it on": Join us.

ADULT CHOIR

Rehearsals for the adult choir--under the direction of Jerry Stege--are at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays from mid-September through June in the choir loft of the church.

YOUTH CHOIR

Rehearsals for the youth choir--under the direction of Jerry Stege and Yvonne Kuk--are at 6:30 on Thursdays from mid-September through June in the choir loft of the church.
Singing at Mass is scheduled as we become ready.

WAKE SERVICE & FUNERAL CHOIRS Many choir members also sing at Wake Services and Funerals. Those who work especially appreciate the opportunity to sing at the Wake Services, which are usually scheduled for 8:00 p.m. the evening before the funeral.
