St. Joseph Parish at 254 Sixth St., Manistee, MI 49660 US - Rosary/Altar Society

The Rosary Society has been flourishing at St. Joseph Parish since the early 1900's. Recently the Altar Society merged with us to strengthen our membership. This Rosary/Altar Society is an extension of our parish. New members and new ideas are essential to the continued success of our Society. The major objective of our Rosary/Altar Society is to provide spiritual enrichment for our members. Other major projects include:

• Providing prayer support for our parish and members;
• Providing altar supplies when needed;
• Providing vestments when needed;
• Cleaning our church for holidays and when necessary;
• Prayer support at funeral services of our members;
• Baby shower items for Love for Children;
• Donating pennies to Manistee Catholic Central;
• Purchasing raffle tickets for the Parish dinner;
• Providing prayer support for upcoming communicants;
• Donating to the Religious Retirement Fund;
• Donating food items for Christmas baskets;
• Sponsoring a family at Christmas with clothing and gifts;
• Donating art and drawing supplies to Love for Children
